Exactly a month before Christmas ... read on to find out more!
Fans were elated to know that Hanwei will be appearing at Compass Point on 25/11 for the Star Awards Roadshow! We printed a new board for this special occasion.. Some of us who came were in the midst of having pri/sec school holidays , some having exams while others working:)
Despite being one of the very first few fan clubs who reached , we were eventually pushed by people around and couldnt get the first row which we actually deserved. We were almost separated.But thankfully we got over it very quickly and prepared ourselves for the arrival of Hanwei. We kept ourselves occupied by also writing comments in a card which was meant for him later on.
The whole event started at 130pm with hosts ; Dasmond koh & Peifen. We were asked by the producer to shout a cheer for Hanwei , which we did:) Hanwei and the rest of the celebs were being called up at around 210pm. Hanwei wore a white ralph lauren polo shirt with his collar up :D He looked really good in it. All we did was only raising our boards when he came up on stage, we didnt shout or scream.. People around us were constantly screaming and squeezing :S
We saw Hanwei's manager Aihua as well. We waved to her and she came forward to us , much to our delight :D She told us we could have many tickets as we wanted and told us this year's star awards wouldnt be at Mediacorp. Fans wont be allowed to be in but we can see them at the red carpet:) It was also thanks to her that how the photo board of Hanwei came about.
First was introduction of each individual celebrity. He was greeted as Hanwei Ah ge & wei ge. Hanwei mentioned that he's comfortable with acting as Letian in Huan Le Man Wu. And he's happy that he was given a chance to host Wardrobe SOS as well:)
After that was the game of guessing of the drama's theme song with the guitar accompaniment of Weilian. During the break interval , Hanwei posed for photos with Jeanette aw and Yvone Lim. He was seen chatting happily with both of them! The 2nd game was guessing which celebrity ate the spicy bread. After eating , he actually took Yvonne lim's bottle by mistake! Although Hanwei lost , he gamely did the punishment by drinking the bitter drink! And he finished the bottle of drink in 4 seconds! Jeanette aw even cheered for Hanwei by asking him to " Jia You! " :D
After that it was sabo-ing btw celebs on stage. Playful Hanwei asked Jeanette aw to finish up the bitter drink! But it was eventually passed on to the hosts as it was the very last episode already.
We then cabbed to Mediacorp to await for Hanwei's return. He came back after a while and he drove out in his orange beetle and signalled us to the right side. He mentioned about Star awards and we told him that we've got 30 tickets in total! And he wont be driving to star awards this year and told us will see how can it be done..
He said that he'll be embarking on his new show @ Jan2007. As for now , he's busy with his own stuffs. Mags/Newspapers like Men's folio , Space , Iwkly , Zaobao , Straits times had been taking turns to visit his new house. So fans , do look out for it! After that it was signing of autographs! He told us that he still kept the little card we gave to him last year and he even placed it on top of his table! He asked why is the screenshot of the photo of him( letian ) so clear? We replied that it was the technology of tv tuner card installed in computer:)
He mentioned about this blog as well , saying that his friends told him about this blog..Just then , Ben yeo's car drove by and he honked at Hanwei! :D
Photos taking after that! He told us not to go near him as he was not feeling too well. Each of us waited patiently for our turn. One of us requested him to pose a photo with a victory sign , which he did :D
We settled our dinner together with our friends at prata house after that..
We're really touched by his gesture and happy that he actually stopped his car for 10 mins or more. Cant wait for Star Awards 2006!

TGIF. Thank god its friday!
Hanwei was present at Vivo city on friday for the I-weekly 25th Anniversary party! It was a star studded event & was also graced by other A listers celebrities like Zoe Tay , Patricia Mok , Edmund Chen etc.
We went about in circles to catch glimpses of Hanwei. He was mostly seen eating and chatting inside. He was one of the first few who went up to stage with Edmund Chen , Patricia Mok and Ann kok. The host,Cruz teng mentioned that Hanwei's long hair was classic in 1995 ,he was famous for his long hair then.
He was also asked to go to the stage to accept a big i-weekly board on behalf of Fann wong who wasnt present.
Nearing to 8:30 pm , he was seen again. After which , Hanwei was asked to sign on the board. One of the audiences by the side asked him why did he wear a cap ? Hanwei exclaimed that its in a mess and he's not gonna cut his hair for the time being because of his upcoming new show.
After that he saw us. He waved to us and posed for a photo. He asked if we are able to take photos since we're so far away from stage. After that he went back into the crowd :)
Hanwei came out not long after. We took individual photos with him and asked him some questions. His star awards roadshow will be on 25 Nov .After which bidded good bye & he entered the lift.
