We can only say that we are truly sorry to Hanwei..
Hanwei's hardwork was evident throughout the whole year , be it to be acting or hosting. There's always 2007 to look forward to. Jia you , Hanwei. Dont despair coz we'll never give up on you!
Morning
We reached at 630 am in the morining and 3rd in queue. Despite some having poly exams the very next day , some working , some busy with personal stuffs and some having holidays , we came down just to show our support for Hanwei. One of us even had to bring books to do a quick revision for exams..
Afternoon
The sun was scorching hot in the afternoon. We were granted entrance at 2pm , though 3rd in queue , other fan clubs behind us just ran in..
All of us were practically baked under the hot sun. We all ended up getting sun burnt. The organisers of Star Awards didnt permit fans to bring in bottles of water. Thought they should be more considerate as we might suffer from heatstroke if we didnt drink enough water.
Hanwei reached at around 345 , a very kind friend saw and signalled to us that Hanwei was in the cab. Hanwei signalled us to his side but unfortunately he had to go in as there were cars behind. Contented to catch even a glimpse of him :)
Evening 6pm
Hanwei was the first to walk down the red carpet. Must say that he's very daring in his choice of clothes - polka dots + stripes , a red tie and a mini brooch. Wise and nice selection of outfit!
It came to climax when we saw Hanwei's name not in the top 12 list. We were very worried and some of us cried. We all began calling non stop till the hotlines were closed. But in the end......
We all cried , hugged and comforted each other after the last top 10 was announced. We were really feeling very down..As much as we tried to hold back our tears , but we really couldnt hide our sadness and disappointment..
Night
We went in search for Hanwei after star awards has ended but to no avail. Before that we told ourselves not to cry in front of him if we get to see him later. Just then we saw Ivy lee and asked her if she has seen Hanwei. She told us that Hanwei might have left already..
So we left after a while as it was getting really late..
Although it was a very sad day for fans and Hanwei, we're glad to say that we're very united this time round and our friendship and support for Hanwei is stronger than before.
Not forgetting friends we know from other fan clubs like Michelle Chong , Jacelyn Tay , Patricia Mok etc :) May our friendship remains , cheers!
Hope year 2007 will be a better one for Hanwei and all !
