Went to fetched Hanwei's fans from Taiwan with 3 of her friends from the airport around noon. I actually knew Peijun online since 4-5 years back and really glad to see her in person for the very first time. It was her first visit to Singapore, and she had only one thing in mind- To see her idol of 12 years. She was indeed lucky as Hanwei's involved in mission on 16/12, meaning she can get to see more of him. After bringing them to their Hotel, YMCA, proceeded to Orchard Road for abit of shopping. Then was our final stop was Bugis.

I only got to meet them in late afternoon as i had something on in the morning. Nevertheless, they walked around Vivo City to keep themselves occupied and then far east shopping centre for another round of shopping. Newton Food centre was our last stop for dinner.

16 Dec 2007

Reached Mediacorp at around 830am to place our boards for star awards queue. Huiling and i then proceeded to heeren, to meet up with Jennifer and of coz to see and support Hanwei in the mission. His taiwan fan came not long after, and they were interviewed by Hanwei's team where Hanwei was pleasantly surprised to know that she supported him since 12 years back! Peijun was extremely happy and could not contain her excitment. We're happy for her too:)Hanwei came and talked to us whenever he could, and we really appreciate that. Initially some of us were avoiding the camera, as didnt wana go on national tv.. He was also nice enough to ask us if we wana go on tv:) We also gave him a card to encourage him.. ;]

The results for mission was announced at around 230 pm. Hanwei's team won- Yay! And then the rain began to pour. After wishing Hanwei good luck for star awards, we all went to had our lunch at Heeren. Then we brought Peijun and her bf to a friend of theirs to bring them around to other areas. The 4 of us, - P, Z, H and J took a cab at Paragon to Mediacorp and reached around 430 pm. There were a number of fan cubs there by then.

It was 6+pm and before we knew, we were sitting at the gallery. We were surprised when Hanwei's name was booted out of top 16. Then we tried to call as much as we could till the poll closed, but to no avail.

Upset.

But we knew Hanwei must have felt worse.. And this time we didnt cry like how we did last year. But deep down, all of us were really sad for hanwei. Our hearts sank literally. We all were quiet throughout the whole ceremony.. but there was this unseen strong unity among us.

Proceeded to radio gate after that. Hanwei came out at around 1115 and stopped for fans twice. The fc members chose to walk down further to let others approach him first.

He drove to us after 1-2 mins and came out of his car. He apologised to us for wasting our money and effort. :(
Although he told us he's not disappointed and all, but................

It should be us consoling him and not the other way round. And he kept telling us not to be upset..esp to his tw fan who came. We had our photos taken and it was really a nice session with him. No regrets supporting him! He also talked about his drama, that he wont be involved in the drama with Zoe anymore. We all were like, why.. then he said, quality to quantity!

His hardwork is evident over the years. We know, we feel, we really do..

We hope year 2008, which marks the 20th year in his career will be a better and fruitful one. Hopefully a gathering with him next year:)

Brought tw fans to Chinatown for last shopping trip and then to the airport. It was really sad to see them leave:( but i know this wont be my first and last time seeing them. Wana thank hanwei for fostering friendships in the fanclub, esp Peijun, who proved to be a very very nice person(: Throughout these 4 days, i've experienced the culture of taiwanese, the languages etc..And hopefully, visiting them next year if my school timetable permits.

Hugged them before they went in for their flight..
Really glad to know em:)

Anyway, Hanwei appeared in Mission today! Did anyone catch it? He looked absolutely great and.. his tw fan was being captured on tv! :D

Star Awards 2007 - Xi Ju 25

Four fans of Hanwei went down to Mediacorp to watch the Star Awards 2007 cum 25 years of drama live show. As there were limited tickets, the rest had no chance to attend this week.

The show started at 7pm with all past and present artistes of MCS on stage. Fans spotted Hanwei who was dressed smartly with a white shirt with a black vest right at the back of the stage (: We called out to him during one of the commercial breaks and he looked out and waved to us.

Congrats Hanwei on winning the Top 10 villains award as Pan Zhi Hao in A Life of Hope. :)

We headed on to RG to wait for him after the show ended at 10pm. He drove out at about 10.40pm and stopped for us. (: We asked him for photos and he obliged nicely as usual. When two fans of Rui En asked him about his new drama, he mentioned that he is currently filming "Toast of Love" also known as "Yuan Zhi Hui" and will film another drama in January next year with ah jie, Zoe Tay. (: We then wished him good luck for next week's Star Awards and he replied by saying thank you.

2 pieces of news to share.

1) Fang lao shi was named as one of the classic roles in i-weekly. It was said to be the role who made Hanwei famous. The response was so overwhelming that a sequel was soon filmed the next half of the year in 1995.

Noticed the publicity poster has got Yi Qing and Fang Lao shi's photo too :)

2) The fc has chose not to respond to any matters with regards to rumours of Hanwei.

two fans went down to mcs yesterday (4th Nov) despite not having tickets. both of us sat at radiogate all the while and was really surprised to see jennifer there as well. starsearch07 ended at 10pm and it started to drizzle then. it got heavier and we were really worried that our trip would be wasted. the rain began to slacken as hanwei drove out 15 minutes later (he was the first), we waved to him and he stopped at the roadside for us despite the rain. he was surprised that we still came when it was raining, and i replied by saying that it only started raining a while ago. we then requested to take photos and he obliged as usual. =P i asked him about the location of this year's star awards and he told us that it should be held at mcs. thanked and bidded farewell to him aftermath.

we really thank hanwei for his time and stopping for us despite the rain!

Hanwei was one of the artistes interviewed by Zaobao on being a tour guide today. Though his interview was short, it was specially framed with a picture of him riding the trishaw in Vietnam.

Anyone remembered this police drama starring Hanwei and Christopher lee in 1996?

Anyway, there's this article of Hanwei in U-weekly. Will scan either tml or thursday night. He talked about his role as Ouyang and his co-partner, Terence cao. They acted together in Chuang Yi Xian Feng 11 years back. Hanwei also sang 'Qing gan de yi wai' for that show.

陈汉玮饰演火爆刑警，一出场就非常抢眼。这个角色，万一拿捏不好，容易流于夸张；还好陈汉玮火候够，演来不愠不火。

其中几幕和曹国辉互动的戏，两人之间的小动作和玩笑，看似不经意的小动作，却为角色注入一点人性和生气。

陈汉玮在戏里非常搏命，除了少数几个危险性比较高的动作，如：被灯管打头……之外，一概亲身上阵。他的敬业态度，让监制和动作导演都举起拇指，说：赞！

有一场惊险的停车场飞车戏，陈汉玮趴在横冲直撞的车顶上，被大家评为剧中惊险指数前三名。对陈汉玮来说，却是小儿科，他还笑说，如果有机会，还想多转几圈呢！

Finally have time to update..

3 fans went to meet Hanwei, who was decked in his cool shades at Radio gate on Wednesday, 12 Sep 2007. We went through some past videos and spoke about some issues, one was with regards to a recent article reported in U-weekly.
This issue of U –weekly has an interview of Hanwei's tour guiding
in Vietnam which is nice.

But there is another “gossip” article in that
magazine about a "Ma La' Yingdi (Best Actor) in Lioncity (meaning
Singapore) who took advantage of the contractor who renovated his house
& then sold it. Though no names are mentioned it is obvious who this
reporter is referring to. We’ve check with Hanwei and he said that the
renovation of his house was sponsored without those “tricks” mentioned
in the article. If you notice the reporter was smart to cover himself
by saying that the contractor told him about this after a few drinks.
(If untrue can blame it on the alcohol). Sad that this reporter talk
like he is on high moral ground but he himself is not setting good
example as a responsible journalist.
Hanwei said 清者自清 qing zhe zi qing(innocent don’t need to defend
themselves as truth is with them).

Despite the magazine reporting untruths about him, he believes that the facts will speak for themselves.

Coming end september, he will be embarking on a new drama with Michella Chia & 2 taiwan celebrities which will debut in January 2008.

Overall, we had a pretty awesome time with Hanwei. Our heartfelt thanks to him:), for his presence and time.

After this will be a short getaway for him before he embarks on his new show in September.

Btw, tried contacting his manager at 4+ today during my school breaktime but to no avail.

We've recently received some complaints about this boy who claims to be a fan of hanwei and many mediacorp celebrities and that he knows abt hanwei's personal stuffs( email, etc)

ps: Simliar situations also happened to other Mediacorp celebrities, other than Hanwei.

I urge u people to just ignore his posts in any forums; even when the person said that he will email hanwei about his fans or whatsoever.

I'm sure Hanwei will understand.

Hanwei has finshed filming Po Jian Er Chu, if not 95% completed by now.
These few months have been pretty tough and he will be flying off for his well deserved break soon!

Meanwhile gathering/mini celebration or no gathering is still a question mark. We might have to make a trip down to pass him gifts from his overseas and local fans( last resort!!!)

Howdy!

2 fans went down to radio gate to look for Hanwei, as we plan to ask him to have a 5-10 min celebration next week(if his time permits)
We realised he has slimmed down abit..

Turned out that his schedule is abit tight next week(car accident scene on monday), so he promised he will be discussing with his manager and let us know again. He will be going overseas for a short break and be back before his birthday.

Btw, he was nice to say that he didn't want fans to wait for him aimlessly as he wont be sure what time wld he finish filming next week:)

He also told us Po Jian Er Chu will debut in September!
And that its kinda good drama :)

Hi all,

There wont be any gathering with Hanwei as he's still busy filming 'Po Jian Er Chu'.
His manager, Aiwah, has told us that he will be going on a holiday after this show wraps up. A new drama serial in September awaits him after he comes back from his trip!

K, we know you ppl are really sincere in celebrating his birthday after so many years! Thanks for your understanding!!
So our plan B for now, should be making a trip down to Mediacorp, probably in the evening for a while after his filming next week? Maybe a few mins of cutting cake and ___ will do us good, MAYBE. =p

Hi guys,

Hanwei's manager, Aiwah was contacted 3 weeks ago with regards to a mini celebration/get-together session with him on 17 Aug 07 ( friday evening) or 18 Aug 07 ( saturday afternoon).

Gathering is not confirmed yet(depending on Hanwei's schedule..)
Will be contacting her again on the coming monday to finalize date, time and location, if the gathering is possible that is.. (sincerely hope so:)

P/s: The last gathering was held in Dec 2004. Well, not satisfied with the gathering then. ( coz we were still young then, not like we're that old now :P)
Now that everyone has grown up in one way or another, i'm sure this coming gathering will be a warm, fruitful and pleasant one:)

on a side note, lets not get our hopes pinned too high ya?

Hi guys, here are some updates. :)

A chinese website, which is currently under construction will be launched very soon! Do keep a look out for it. It will be a special website as it's done by his china-based fans with the help of some local fans.

Hanwei has already finished filming the studio scenes of his upcoming police drama, po jian er chu which also carries a really unique english title, Metamorphosis. This show will debut on the 18th of September 2007!

2 fans rushed down to location upon hearing Hanwei was there filming on Monday.
Anyway, here are some updates.

He's still busy filming - 'po jian er chu' and that his role is quite physically demanding.
Mentioned about the gathering ( his birthday! ) which is falls on August, sincerely hope we can have a mini celebration with him before his birthday if his time permits. :p

He will be filming another now show in Sep, details not known yet.

Ecstatic. Happy. Delighted =)

6 fans went airport to send Hanwei off for his trip to Vietnam.

Though some took a day off, some rushed from school, some having school holidays, we still did had our fair share of fun and laughter.

5 of his fans, namely J, P, R, H and J2 reached the Airport at around 1 pm. Hanwei arrived at row 7, not long after his parents who were holding on to the luggage.

Hanwei came forward to us and said that he will attend to us shortly. To our delight, which he did after 5 minutes after packing his stuffs.
He began to ask why some of us weren’t there for his event last week.
one answered that she had a meeting, hence couldn’t make it. He actually remembered who were present and who were not.

He then asked if P has found a job, and P clarified that she will be only graduating from U next year. He proceeded to ask R, H and J2 if they were still schooling, and J, who took a day off from working.

Then we began asking him about his latest insights. He told us that he will be having a drama (main lead), involving police and it’s going to be mentally and physically draining. Filming will start few days after his trip to Vietnam and this show is scheduled to be shown in September. He answered that it’s quite a challenging role when probed. We were really happy for him.

He was also approached by the public for photos, whom Hanwei gave assurance to one of the family members of the people going to Vietnam that everything is going to be ok with him around Another fan, Z came not long after and took a photo with Hanwei.

Passed to him a letter from all of us there, which he joked that was it supposed to be ang bao (red packet)
He then went to the departure gate, waving to us 3 times at least before we were out of his sight.

We were talking and concluded that "blessed" was the only apt word to describe how we felt. To think of it, we started as strangers and I supposed that Hanwei was the primary catalyst that binded us tightly. Just a twitch of time, it had already been some years and we still kept in contact in sharing every possible news of him.

The magical thing i feel so "sacred" is that we don’t meet up every often, Most of times, it is outdoor promotions or radio gate. However, laughter is present, fun is present. Very seldom will u see us stuck in awkward silence :p

Man, we hope that he will enjoy his trip, and we certainly look forward to his arrival next week. (Probably some photos as well)

Not forgetting the next show that he’ll be acting in!
We believe he will give his best, as always.

Star Search 2007 Promotion Roadshow

It was certainly delightful to have Hanwei as one of the Star Search finalist appearing on today's promo event.

Some of his fans had something on on this day and felt upset for not being able to make it for this special sharing event. Three of his fans went down. One of which is a malay girl who has never seen Hanwei before. Surprisingly, we managed to get a good view even though we reached quite late. We were really surprised and happy to see that we were actually one of the firsts to reach the event hall.

The show kicked started at 2pm sharp at Westmall Shopping Centre with hosts, Peifen and Xuqi who both did an introduction to Star Search.

Celebs were called out in a 2-3-4 order. First it was Alan Tern and Le yao, followed by Zhang Yao Dong, Priscella Chan and Apple Hong. At last, it was Chen Hanwei, Ivy Lee, Aileen Tan and Yvonne Lim's turn to be called up onto stage.

All 10 who were once Star Search contestants and managed make it this far shared their experience they once had as a contestant taking part in Star Search.

After that, each group had a mini game session. Hanwei's group played charades. All four of them split up into groups of two as requested and Hanwei paired up with Aileen while Ivy paired up with Yvonne. Each group had to guess what drama it is while the other group had to give clues. Playful Hanwei kept making the people on stage, as well as the audiences laugh. :D

As the event was about to come to an end, we cabbed down to Mediacorp to wait for Hanwei's return. After not long, all of them came back and we stopped Hanwei as he was driving out. We passed him some photos to sign on which are meant for his China fans. Then one fan requested for Hanwei to come out from his car for a while to take photos. Despite the hot weather, he willingly obliged. We felt really grateful and we thank him for his time.

Happy New Year!

Hanwei was spotted together with his mum at taka by two fans who happened to be shopping there at the same point of time. We were so excited to see him as we really didn't expect to bump into him at town. Two of us saw him there. We felt abit apprehensive of approaching him at first as he was talking to the salesperson. Just as he was about to make payment, we went up to him and said hi. He looked quite surprised to see us there and he asked "no school today?" One fan replied "dismissed already". He nodded and introduced his mum to us and we greeted her as common courtesy matters.

He mentioned that 8days, iweekly and straits times would be interviewing him about his new house. He also mentioned about the fansite. He told us that he will be having a meeting this month regarding his upcoming show.

We then requested to take photos with him and he willingly obliged! We bidded goodbye after that.

Lastly, we wanna thank Hanwei for his time.

Bumping into him today definetely made our day. (:

Hanwei's hardwork was evident throughout the whole year , be it to be acting or hosting. There's always 2007 to look forward to. Jia you , Hanwei. Dont despair coz we'll never give up on you!

Morning

We reached at 630 am in the morining and 3rd in queue. Despite some having poly exams the very next day , some working , some busy with personal stuffs and some having holidays , we came down just to show our support for Hanwei. One of us even had to bring books to do a quick revision for exams..

Afternoon

The sun was scorching hot in the afternoon. We were granted entrance at 2pm , though 3rd in queue , other fan clubs behind us just ran in..

All of us were practically baked under the hot sun. We all ended up getting sun burnt. The organisers of Star Awards didnt permit fans to bring in bottles of water. Thought they should be more considerate as we might suffer from heatstroke if we didnt drink enough water.

Hanwei reached at around 345 , a very kind friend saw and signalled to us that Hanwei was in the cab. Hanwei signalled us to his side but unfortunately he had to go in as there were cars behind. Contented to catch even a glimpse of him :)

Evening 6pm

Hanwei was the first to walk down the red carpet. Must say that he's very daring in his choice of clothes - polka dots + stripes , a red tie and a mini brooch. Wise and nice selection of outfit!

It came to climax when we saw Hanwei's name not in the top 12 list. We were very worried and some of us cried. We all began calling non stop till the hotlines were closed. But in the end......

We all cried , hugged and comforted each other after the last top 10 was announced. We were really feeling very down..As much as we tried to hold back our tears , but we really couldnt hide our sadness and disappointment..

Night

We went in search for Hanwei after star awards has ended but to no avail. Before that we told ourselves not to cry in front of him if we get to see him later. Just then we saw Ivy lee and asked her if she has seen Hanwei. She told us that Hanwei might have left already..

So we left after a while as it was getting really late..

Although it was a very sad day for fans and Hanwei, we're glad to say that we're very united this time round and our friendship and support for Hanwei is stronger than before.

Not forgetting friends we know from other fan clubs like Michelle Chong , Jacelyn Tay , Patricia Mok etc :) May our friendship remains , cheers!

Hope year 2007 will be a better one for Hanwei and all !

Star Awards Roadshow 25 11 2006

Exactly a month before Christmas ... read on to find out more!

Fans were elated to know that Hanwei will be appearing at Compass Point on 25/11 for the Star Awards Roadshow!
We printed a new board for this special occasion..
Some of us who came were in the midst of having pri/sec school holidays , some having exams while others working:)

Despite being one of the very first few fan clubs who reached , we were eventually pushed by people around and couldnt get the first row which we actually deserved. We were almost separated.But thankfully we got over it very quickly and prepared ourselves for the arrival of Hanwei.
We kept ourselves occupied by also writing comments in a card which was meant for him later on.

The whole event started at 130pm with hosts ; Dasmond koh & Peifen. We were asked by the producer to shout a cheer for Hanwei , which we did:) Hanwei and the rest of the celebs were being called up at around 210pm. Hanwei wore a white ralph lauren polo shirt with his collar up :D He looked really good in it. All we did was only raising our boards when he came up on stage, we didnt shout or scream..
People around us were constantly screaming and squeezing :S

We saw Hanwei's manager Aihua as well. We waved to her and she came forward to us , much to our delight :D She told us we could have many tickets as we wanted and told us this year's star awards wouldnt be at Mediacorp. Fans wont be allowed to be in but we can see them at the red carpet:) It was also thanks to her that how the photo board of Hanwei came about.

First was introduction of each individual celebrity. He was greeted as Hanwei Ah ge & wei ge. Hanwei mentioned that he's comfortable with acting as Letian in Huan Le Man Wu. And he's happy that he was given a chance to host Wardrobe SOS as well:)

After that was the game of guessing of the drama's theme song with the guitar accompaniment of Weilian. During the break interval , Hanwei posed for photos with Jeanette aw and Yvone Lim. He was seen chatting happily with both of them! The 2nd game was guessing which celebrity ate the spicy bread. After eating , he actually took Yvonne lim's bottle by mistake! Although Hanwei lost , he gamely did the punishment by drinking the bitter drink! And he finished the bottle of drink in 4 seconds! Jeanette aw even cheered for Hanwei by asking him to " Jia You! " :D

After that it was sabo-ing btw celebs on stage. Playful Hanwei asked Jeanette aw to finish up the bitter drink! But it was eventually passed on to the hosts as it was the very last episode already.

We then cabbed to Mediacorp to await for Hanwei's return. He came back after a while and he drove out in his orange beetle and signalled us to the right side. He mentioned about Star awards and we told him that we've got 30 tickets in total! And he wont be driving to star awards this year and told us will see how can it be done..

He said that he'll be embarking on his new show @ Jan2007. As for now , he's busy with his own stuffs. Mags/Newspapers like Men's folio , Space , Iwkly , Zaobao , Straits times had been taking turns to visit his new house. So fans , do look out for it! After that it was signing of autographs! He told us that he still kept the little card we gave to him last year and he even placed it on top of his table! He asked why is the screenshot of the photo of him( letian ) so clear? We replied that it was the technology of tv tuner card installed in computer:)

He mentioned about this blog as well , saying that his friends told him about this blog..Just then , Ben yeo's car drove by and he honked at Hanwei! :D

Photos taking after that! He told us not to go near him as he was not feeling too well. Each of us waited patiently for our turn. One of us requested him to pose a photo with a victory sign , which he did :D

We settled our dinner together with our friends at prata house after that..

We're really touched by his gesture and happy that he actually stopped his car for 10 mins or more. Cant wait for Star Awards 2006!

TGIF. Thank god its friday!

Hanwei was present at Vivo city on friday for the I-weekly 25th Anniversary party! It was a star studded event & was also graced by other A listers celebrities like Zoe Tay , Patricia Mok , Edmund Chen etc.

We went about in circles to catch glimpses of Hanwei. He was mostly seen eating and chatting inside. He was one of the first few who went up to stage with Edmund Chen , Patricia Mok and Ann kok. The host,Cruz teng mentioned that Hanwei's long hair was classic in 1995 ,he was famous for his long hair then.

He was also asked to go to the stage to accept a big i-weekly board on behalf of Fann wong who wasnt present.

Nearing to 8:30 pm , he was seen again. After which , Hanwei was asked to sign on the board. One of the audiences by the side asked him why did he wear a cap ? Hanwei exclaimed that its in a mess and he's not gonna cut his hair for the time being because of his upcoming new show.

After that he saw us. He waved to us and posed for a photo. He asked if we are able to take photos since we're so far away from stage. After that he went back into the crowd :)

Hanwei came out not long after. We took individual photos with him and asked him some questions. His star awards roadshow will be on 25 Nov .After which bidded good bye & he entered the lift.

Yet another wonderful day..

Fans went to fetch Hanwei back on saturday night (14/10) upon confirmation with his manager. We didnt wana miss any chance of catching a glimpse of Hanwei , so we went down despite the late hour. And never did we regret going , as for why ? Read on..

After the flight had landed , fans waited anxiously for Hanwei outside belt 21. Edmund Chen's fans were present as well.

One fan spotted Hanwei in a white and grey hoodie. He was spotted helping a crew member after getting his own luggage. We called out to him after he came out. He was surprised to see us there. The first question for us was " u guys still came despite the late hour :) ? " We replied coz there's no school for us tml ( which was on sunday ) Then he began telling us about his working trip in Korea.

He mentioned that he'll be rushing the last few scenes for Huan le Man wu after which he'll be busy moving house. He said that he's only given 8 days to move house.. Different forms of media will take turns to visit his new house..So guys do take note of future publications of iwkly/8days/home&decor/style living magazines.

When on topic about star awards , he said that he will try his best to acquire tickets for us. We were touched and happy upon hearing that. He asked questions about where did we stay , etc. Then was photograph session as usual ( we always ask him for photos most of the time if he's free :p ) Hanwei suggested this corner for us to take individual photos with him. He's observant enough to point out that one of his fan had actually grown up , in terms of physical features and height , which was very true.

It was getting real late and he reminded us to go home early. He then joined in the taxi queue......

Thank you Hanwei , for everything.. We know that he's tired after his flight and he could just go off but yet he still talked and update us about his happenings . We're very appreciative..

Saturday was yet another memorable day for fans :)

Though pictures speak a thousand words, they cannot reflect explicitly what we intend to convey, which is much about the intangible. However, if you do take time to read the entries, I humbly thank you and hope you will enjoy reading our past / present experiences with Hanwei.

Sep 4th was definitely not another monday blues for us ; especially for fans who went down to mediacorp to wait for Hanwei. 2 of us went down , coz we're students and our time table are more flexible unlike working adults.

Specially thanks to a friend who passed the phone to Hanwei on friday evening , making this meetup possible.

Hanwei arrived at 9.45 am in his prominent orange beetle. We were greeted by a smile. He was decked in his cool shades & casual wear. We were not exactly surprised that he's punctual because fans know that he has got good time management. Passed him all the birthday presents and cards given by his local and overseas fans. He was taken aback when he saw one of his photos in the past and remarked ' so awful ! ' He thanked fans for all gifts , cards and letters.

After which we took individual photos with him followed by a short video recording message to/for fans and a firm handshake . He headed inside mediacorp after that for filming.

Wonderful morning to begin with , esp it was the first time in seeing Hanwei upclose for one of the fans.

Last but not least , we wana thank Hanwei for his precious time & we truly appreciate it alot.
